Hospitality Furniture: Synecdoche
Professional fabrication work done for Synecdoche Design Studio in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I fabricated a variety of custom high end furniture for clients in the hospitality industry, including concierge stands, host stands, slat walls, grocery store shelving, office furniture and other bespoke items. The furniture produced for Synecdoche was debuted at ICFF and Wanted Design in 2021. I also assisted with the fabrication of bespoke furniture for Venue 4M, a co-working space with a cafe, restaurant and grocery store.
Hatch Stands
& Slat Walls
The Synecdoche Hatch Stands are a rich walnut slatted podium that come in three sizes. Clients commissioned these as valet stands, host stands and concierge desks.
The Slat Walls are a rich walnut veneered flexible shelving system. The slat wall system includes walnut veneered panels, steel shelves and a sleek magnetic sign.
Venue 4M
Venue 4M is a multi-service hospitality venue in Ann Arbor, MI, designed by Synecdoche, including a coworking space, restaurant, cafe, grocery store and event space. I fabricated a large concierge desk located at the front of the building, as well as several offices desks, and grocery store shelving.
