STUDIO  WEI

Studio Wei, run by Irene Wei, uses furniture and architecturual design as a medium for culture to flourish, crafting objects and spaces that affords stories to be told and bring people together.

Irene has been recognized by the Furniture Society as an Emerging Artist with Distinction and exhibited at WantedDesign and ICFF. On the side, Irene also runs Pith Flower Shop, where she shares the Taiwanese craft of pith paper flower making, supported by the Fulbright Scholar Program and the RISD Maharam STEAM Fellowship. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and M.Arch from the University of Michigan.
